Hey everybody, welcome to Centered the Podcast. I'm your host, Leslie Braverman, and I'm sharing holistic content that reconnects you to your most centered self, that place within you that is energized, knowing, and uplifted despite the chaos and demands of life. It's that place within you where you can become the portal of possibility. I had the pleasure of attending a weekend workshop with Esther Hicks, who is an author, a speaker, a channel, and has been developing the art of manifestation for well, decades now. She is the master. She's amazing. And I had such a wonderful weekend. And I wanted to share some of the takeaways I had from that weekend. There were a lot, and I think that they could be maybe even multiple podcasts, but let's start a little bit with understanding the universal laws of energy. So the one that's most commonly talked about is the law of attraction, and that's what we're going to get into shortly. And it's the idea that we attract the same frequency that we embody. And so we are in charge of what our frequency is. And those are the laws of energy. We have that free will, which is the another of our universal laws. Free will is that we can't interfere with someone's right to choose what they wish to experience, but we have full discernment and control over how we wish to feel, think, and believe in our experience. Another law is the law of resonance. It's that two or more things that vibrate at the same frequency will be affected and amplified by each other. And I love the law of resonance because usually you'll attract something or someone or some something into your field, and then you get to decide how that play goes on. The law of attention, super important part of the law of attraction, is where your intention goes, your energy flows. So the more you focus and what you focus on determines your reality. Intention is we intend and we create. So those are two very interrelated the attention and intention. And then what we don't transmute, what we don't clear from our field, we transmit. And I love that one too, because we are constantly in the soup of each other, right? We are in the communal space, whether we realize it or not. And we know from the measurements of the HeartMath Institute that our energy field extends way beyond what we can see around 10 to 15 feet, depending on what you're broadcasting. So a lot of what we're going to talk about today, the takeaways that I had is, you know, is also in my book about how we can look at changing our frequency, changing our energy, and impacting the collective that we are in the most positive way. So one of the things I love that Esther said was that the law of attraction is incredibly precise. And I love precision. So the idea is that what matches your emotional frequency comes to you. And this includes memories, visions, and it really impacts what is possible for you. Know that everything is possible for you, but where your frequency is is what's going to determine what's happening for you in your life. So when you tend to your emotional landscape and your point of attraction, it's like having an entourage paving the way for you. I love that. So that really means getting into your most centered state, feeling aligned with your inner being, your soul, your higher self, and then being super aware of your emotional landscape and knowing and choosing it, being discerning. So one of the things she said is feeling good matters and is the foundation of your point of attraction. Finding a rhythm that feels good is a place, is a is where you are in most alignment. It's not frantic, it's not fix it, it's not pleaser, it's a feel-good rhythm that you can flow with. And this is your true alignment with your inner self. And really important to know your soul and your inner being will not join you when you're in a low frequency state. So Esther refers to low frequency state as negative emotions, negative thoughts. When I talk about them, when I wrote about them in my book, I talk about them as low frequency versus high frequency because they have a purpose. And sometimes when we have the word negative, we want to run or avoid or shame ourselves. So I just want to bring that point of clarity in. So whatever you put your attention, right, law of attention to is going to manifest more of it. And the universe doesn't care, right? The universal laws of energy don't care if it's positive or negative. That's up to you. So when you think about something you don't want to experience, you're feeding it, you're bringing it forth, you're manifesting it. And when you focus on what you do want to experience, you're bringing that. So I'll give you an example before I keep listing these really great nuggets from the weekend. I this week had two sick kids, a sick dog, and a missing cat. And I felt like I was handling everything but the missing cat really well. And I started focusing on how she was missing. And I was crying and I was sad and I was like, wait a second, I'm focusing on what I don't want. What do I really want? I want her to come home. I want her to come home. I want her to be found. I want her. So I started focusing on that. And last she had been gone for three days. So last night we saw her in the yard. And while she didn't come in, we saw her. And that gave me that sense of hope. And now I can definitely focus really well and more clearly on more of that, right? I want more of that. I want more kitty coming home, more of her in the yard. I want more of her. You understand what I'm saying? So this is a really basic example, but that's the key, is it's an all-day practice of working on awareness of what you're thinking and what you're putting energy into. So on that note, Esther had said, every emotion is a portal that brings you what is for you and at that frequency. So the suggestion was I've decided that I am going to feel good despite X, Y, and Z. And eventually you're saying, I've decided that I'm going to feel good. I'm without the X, Y, and Z. And you're working yourself almost like this is like going to the spiritual gym, right? This is you're working on reconstructing the patterns of the mind and how what you're thinking impacts your emotions. So if you push against or focus on what you don't want, you're attracting more of it. So Esther's line is tune your tuner. Another one that I really liked was about relationships. We had a really sweet couple that was there, and one half of the couple came up and was talking about how she's working so hard on a relationship and she wants it to work out so well. And one of the things that Astra said is, you know, no one gets to determine how you feel. And if you decide that the good times will dominate the relationship, they will because you decide they will. And that frequency that you choose, that vibration, will start to impact the relationship, but that you're not responsible, right? You're not responsible for how the other person feels. You're responsible for showing up, you're responsible for being curious, you're responsible for being open to receive, but it's not about being a pleaser and it's not about doing all the work. It's about finding that feel-good rhythm in the relationship, regardless of the highs and lows of it. One of my favorite things that Esther said is that desire is the first evidence of manifestation. And I think that this is such a powerful takeaway because her point was that if you're in alignment and you're receiving the impulse to do, go, be, create, and show up somewhere, that hit is the first note of the manifestation of whatever is coming. And a lot of times people are always saying, I want evidence, I want evidence. And there's a lot of different ways to look for evidence from synchronicities of reading something that you wanted information about, or a person in a coffee shop talking to someone else, and you overhear exactly what you need. Some people use angel numbers, which are just repeating numbers to show synchronicity of that you're on the right track. But I love this statement desire is the first evidence of manifestation because it's coming, this impulse is coming from your inner being, your soul self, your higher self. And if you desire it, it's on the way. And the theory, the way Esther describes it is if you desire it, it's already in your cue. And the kind of the Hicks method is to talk about the vortex. So every emotion is a portal to possibilities, right? We talk about that a lot on this podcast. And there's this the way she describes a being in the vortex is being in that centered state. So you're tapped into your heart, you're in a space of calm, and you're able to connect with your inner being consciously. And whatever comes through, whether it is an impulse in any direction, is meant for you. It is meant for you to then follow on. And this desire is the first evidence of manifestation. All right. I think I've hit that one hard enough. I just got really excited about it. I guess I just really needed to know that it was the direction I needed to go. Oftentimes when I have desire, I am like, is this strong? Is this weak? Is this in the future? Is this in the now? What are the steps I can take? And I think I tend to get in my head about it a little bit. And so then just coming back to this, if this is you, if this is something you have too, it's coming back to staying and maintaining the state of the feel-good rhythm, and that you will be led in that direction with your intention and attention. So we talk about desire being the first evidence of manifestation. Then the key to continuing is really learning to receive. And I've had some podcast episode on different ways of learning to receive, really being able to rest and being in flow with your rhythm. And Esther added a few. So the idea of cleaning up your vibration, again, this is staying in your higher frequency vibrations and maintaining a really positive state of being about what you're manifesting. And if we look at the emotional guidance scale, let's look at what we have for these high frequency vibrations. This is joy, passion, empowerment, love, freedom, appreciation, gratitude, enthusiasm is huge, positive expectations and beliefs, optimism, hopefulness, contentment. And then right at contentment, and I often put fulfillment there too, or satisfaction, there's a tipping point. And then at below that are our lower frequency vibrations from boredom to pessimism, frustration, irritation, overwhelm, disappointment, doubt, worry, blame, anger, revenge, hatred, jealousy, fear, grief, depression, right? These are all, there's a lot of them. And a lot of times we're fluctuating all day in between them. And so the idea of holding these higher frequency vibrations around your manifestation is what will close that gap. So that said, you can't get it wrong because all of it is meant for you. It's all part of your journey of either cleaning up your vibration or practicing receiving in different ways. So I'm going to list a few more that were my, you know, top 10 takeaways, besides you can't get it wrong. Curate your life by curating your mood. I'm going to pause on that one and say it again. Curate your life by curating your mood. And mood is just another word for your emotional state, inner landscape, or frequency. If the desire exists, this reality has the capacity to deliver it to you. If the desire exists, this reality has the capacity to deliver it to you, meaning it's already yours. Next, you're always new in the now. And the idea being you don't have to worry about your past or your future. Stay with the now. If you go too far ahead or too far back into stuff, you're impacting your frequency in that kind of cleaned up state that it is right now. So stay in the now. Your inner being knows the cracks of least resistance within you. So all you have to do is maintain that higher frequency around the manifestation and then start to look for evidence so that you keep going with it. And I love this idea of your inner being knows how to work with you. She's done it your whole life. She knows exactly how to get you where you need to go, where you want to go, and where you're teaming up to go, right? Remember that idea of having an entourage paving the way for you. The first sign of manifestation is desire. We got that one. Finding harmony about the things that are good is the secret to happily ever after. And this is what was said to the couple when they were talking about their relationship. So again, finding harmony about the things that are good is the secret to happily ever after. Really focusing on that, letting that be an intention. And then you can't give up desire, right? Desire is always gonna come because you're always you're always in the now and you're always receiving. But you can give up struggle. I'll say that again. You can't give up desire, but you can give up struggle. So really relaxing into that feel-good rhythm once you find it, and maintaining an optimistic stance or state of being about what you choose to manifest, and remembering that you it's already yours, right? All right, and then the last one don't argue for your limitations, advocate for your desires. So a lot of people will create a litany of excuses of why something isn't coming working, why they're not able to focus on what you can do, advocating for your desires because you you deserve them. They're already yours. If it's coming to you again, that's your first evidence that they're meant for you. So I had a really wonderful time. The experience was really uplifting. The room was full of really can-do people, really high vibrational. There were some beautiful stories of people who have been on this path using the law of attraction, the way Esther describes it, for over 10 years. And they had a few moments to talk about all of the things that they have intentioned or desired and then manifested and had just wonderful experiences with. So we can look into Esther's books if you're interested. Of course, there's some of this in mine, which is recently out and available on Amazon. And I hope this was helpful. Respond in the comments on what your favorite takeaway was and keeping that portal of possibility. This is really getting to the crux of what is possible for you, is what's already in your mind and heart that you're desiring. You are that portal of possibility, and it's right there for you. Lots of love.
